After extensive operation testing, the item has been cleaned and then listed. This item was non-operational when acquired, but has been restored to working condition by a watchmaker.
This is a highly regarded vintage Grand Seiko model featuring Seiko's acclaimed 45GS movement (manual-winding Cal. 4522A). Manufactured from the late 1960s to early 1970s, it features one of Seiko's first high-beat mechanical movements, oscillating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, offering extremely high precision. The individual piece listed is housed in a gold-plated stainless steel case and retains its original GS-signed crown and case back with gold medallion.
