Troubleshooting Windows 11 installation on an old PC

When upgrading a Lenovo Windows PC with an 8th generation Core i5 to Windows 11, a series of problems may occur. While reverting to Windows 10 is an option, it may not fundamentally resolve the issues.
Initially, you might encounter issues such as being unable to adjust screen brightness or losing audio.
To resolve this, apply all available Windows 11 update patches.
After Windows 11 finishes updating, download the software from the internet.
For Lenovo PCs, search for "Lenovo system update."

Select Lenovo System Update for Windows 11, 10 & 7 (32bit, 64bit)

If a compatibility check screen appears, close it without entering any information and select download again.

After downloading, double-click to run.

After installation, run Systemupdate.

Select and install all updates.

After the system update and restart, the issues with screen brightness adjustment and loss of audio will be resolved.
Please note that a system update is necessary. While this occurred on a Lenovo PC, similar phenomena could occur with other manufacturers' PCs.
